




Cali Date Syrup™ Balsamic Glazed Steak with Roasted Root Vegetables
INGREDIENTS:

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup
-
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup carrots, chopped
-
1 cup parsnips, chopped
-
1 cup sweet potatoes, diced
-
Olive oil, salt, and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:

Toss root vegetables with olive oil, salt, and peppers .

Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.

Season steaks with salt and pepper.

Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.

Combine Cali Date Syrup, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and olive oil.

Brush over steaks in the final minute of cooking.
-
Place steak over roasted vegetables and drizzle with extra glaze.
