Cali Date Syrup™ Balsamic Glazed Steak with Roasted Root Vegetables

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

  • 1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup carrots, chopped

  • 1 cup parsnips, chopped

  • 1 cup sweet potatoes, diced

  • Olive oil, salt, and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Toss root vegetables with olive oil, salt, and peppers .

  • Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes.

  • Season steaks with salt and pepper.

  • Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.

  • Combine Cali Date Syrup, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and olive oil.

  • Brush over steaks in the final minute of cooking.

  • Place steak over roasted vegetables and drizzle with extra glaze.

  • SERVING TIP: Garnish with fresh thyme for an aromatic finish.
