




Date Syrup BBQ
Pork Ribs
INGREDIENTS:

2 racks of pork ribs

1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup

1/4 cup ketchup
-
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tbsp smoked paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
1/2 tsp ground cumin
-
Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Preheat grill to medium heat or set your oven to 275°F (135°C).

Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

In a small bowl, mix together Cali Date Syrup, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and olive oil to create the BBQ sauce.

Coat the ribs with the BBQ sauce.

Grill Method: Grill ribs over indirect heat for 2.5-3 hours, turning occasionally and basting with additional sauce during the last 30 minutes.

Oven Method: Wrap ribs in foil and bake in oven for 2.5-3 hours.
In the final 30 minutes, unwrap the ribs, baste with additional sauce, and return to oven to caramelize.

Once ribs are tender and the sauce has formed a sticky glaze, remove from heat.

Serve hot, with extra Cali Date Syrup BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
