Double Chocolate Brownie with Cali Date Syrup™ Swirl

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup Cali Date Syrup (+ extra for swirling)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.

  • Mix melted butter, sugar, Cali Date Syrup, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Fold in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in chocolate chunks.

  • Pour batter into the pan, drizzle extra Cali Date Syrup on top, and swirl with a toothpick.

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool before slicing.

  • SERVING TIP: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and an extra drizzle of Cali Date Syrup.
