Date Syrup-Glazed Salmon

Cali Date Syrup Glazed Lemon Salmon

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley (or cilantro) for garnish

  • Lemon wedges for serving

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In a small bowl, whisk Cali Date Syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, ginger (optional), salt, and pepper.

  • Place salmon fillets in a dish, pour half the glaze over them, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Oven Method: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Place salmon skin-side down on a lined or oiled baking sheet, brush with remaining glaze, and roast for 12-15 minutes until flaky.

  • Pan-Seared Method: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon 4-5 minutes per side, brushing with glaze for caramelization.

  • Garnish with parsley or cilantro and serve with lemon wedges. 🍋
