Date Syrup Sweetened Flatbread
INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda
-
1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup
-
1/2 cup warm water
-
2 tbsp olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
-
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.

Add the Cali Date Syrup, warm water, and olive oil, and mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into flat rounds
-
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
-
Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden and slightly puffed.

Serve warm with yogurt or dips.
