Salted Caramel Date Syrup Panna Cotta

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

  • 2 1/4 tsp unflavored gelatin

  • 3 tbsp cold water

  • 1/4 cup Cali Date Syrup

  • A pinch of sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.

  • In a saucepan, heat cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla until just simmering.

  • Do not boil.

  • Remove from heat, stir in the gelatin until dissolved.

  • Pour into serving glasses and refrigerate for 4 hours until set.

  • For the topping, mix Cali Date Syrup with a pinch of sea salt and drizzle over the panna cotta before serving.

  • SERVING TIP: Add a sprinkle of crushed pistachios for extra texture.
